Welcome Cocktail Reception
OPENAP officially opened with a welcome cocktail reception in the evening of September 18. It was an evening of fun, and delegates were able to introduce themselves under social networking sessions with other delegates who registered during the day.
On the morning of September 19, our CEO and founder Christos Spyrou presented the NAP project with a detailed overview regarding it’s objectives, benefits for the members, the innovative air cargo community tools and what is coming soon in the world of NAP air cargo networking. Etihad Cargo, Aero Africa , Astral Aviation ,Freight hub, Parcel International , NAX Express ,Wings, Pitney Bowes, CCL , Wisetech Global, shared some insights with a lot of useful information regarding the challenges and the future of the air cargo industry .
Air cargo agents, master loaders &consolidators, ecommerce operators , time critical and express service firms, GSAs & aviation specialists, as well as carriers, participated in 3 specialty workshops, and discussed the challenges , the opportunities , and explored potential new products and value added services for each of our sub industry groups .
On the 30th our guests experienced a unique relaxing experience at the Four seasons Langkawi island resort. The weekend included safari through Mangosteen forests , social activities , and exclusive cocktails over sunset.
